At WeatherTech we pride ourselves in the expert replacement of Fascias, Soffits, Bargeboards and Guttering throughout the East Midlands.
As we are fully qualified roofing contractors we are able to ensure the repair and replacement of damaged ends to existing roofing timbers, and ensure that the new product integrates properly with your existing felt and tiles.
Rotten fascia can cause structural damage to your property leading to costly repairs. Damp from old or incorrectly installed soffits and fascias can cause mortar to come loose and lead to damp problems within the property itself.
Wood has traditionally been used to enhance a home's exterior. Fascias, bargeboards, soffits, and cladding - it's surprising how much timber there is on the outside of your dwelling.
The trouble with traditional wooden materials, as well as your guttering and downpipes, it all needs regular maintenance to stave off the problems of rot, rust, mould and insects - let alone keeping it looking smart and clean.
By replacing your wood for Pvc Eu, you get a virtually maintenance free product which will not warp crack or discolour. It also has a 20 year guarantee so you can be assured that your investment will last, unlike wood.
WeatherTech roofing replace unsightly concrete guttering also known as Finlock gutters.
Installed during the 1950’s, 60’s and 70’s they carried out two functions of closing the cavity at the top of the brickwork and providing a maintenance free (or so they thought at the time) gutter system.
The gutters comprise of units that vary in length between 200 and 600 mm and either the joints have been sealed with bitumen or a similar substance or the gutters are lined, often with torch on mineral felt.
In some installations the units are formed into a lintel over the window openings by filling the lintel trough with concrete. The other benefit of this type of construction was of course that the properties did not need fascias or soffits and so the whole design was meant to be maintenance free whilst being cheap to build.
However over time frost, heat, moss and corrosive dirt causes Finlock gutters to fail. When they fail there is only one answer remove and replace with a PVC Eu system.

Finlock gutters tend to be very unsightly, so full replacement does uplift the look of your property.
At WeatherTech we specialise in this type of replacement, and do so to a high standard.
